Onsite Paper Shredding | Baton Rouge + New Orleans
Whether you own a small business or manage a large corporation, onsite document shredding is the safest, most secure method of document destruction. We know that every company is unique and your specific shredding needs are no different. Tiger Shredding & Recycling will work with you to tailor a plan that meets all the requirements of your shredding needs. Our state-of-the-art mobile shredding truck gives Tiger Shredding & Recycling the ability to shred documents and hard drives onsite with security and confidence you can trust. Within a matter of minutes your documents will be shredded to NAID standards while you watch the process through our curbside viewing monitor on the outside of the truck.
During the onsite shredding process, a TSR representative will empty your container into the onsite shredding truck and exchange shredding containers with locked containers safeguarding your sensitive documents at all times. Once the shredding process has been completed, your TSR staff member will fill out a “Certificate of Destruction” (COD). Your COD will notate the quantity of containers shredded and will be signed at the completion of the job.
IDENTIFY YOUR NEEDS
Here are some examples of things to think about when evaluating your company’s needs and making a document management and destruction plan:
- How many employees do we have?
- Are we mandated by compliance to have shredding?
- Are we going paperless?
- How often do we need to be serviced?
- Does your business require onsite shredding?
DEVELOP A PLAN
Once your assessment is complete, a customized onsite shredding plan will be designed and put into action. This will include the container size and shredding frequency. A TSR staff member will come to your place of business and deploy the shredding containers and establish a shredding schedule given the amount of documents produced by your organization. Depending on your document flow, the business can receive weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or annual shredding services.
All TSR staff members undergo background investigations and drug screening as well as previous job referral checks to maintain industry security requirements (i.e., NAID certification). TSR staff members wear identification badges and uniforms for quick identification.
TSR recognizes the need to take the destruction process a step further by ”Geauxing Green”. After documents have been destroyed, they are baled and loaded onto a secured truck. They are then sent to the recycling mill to be pulped-down and made into recycled paper products such as hand towels, tissue paper, and cups. We send 100% of all destroyed paper to a recycling mill. Last year, TSR recycled over 5 million pounds of paper.
