Tiger Shredding and Recycling will come on-site to
your place of business to work with you to customize a secure shredding plan for your place of business.
Here’s how it works:
IDENTIFY YOUR NEEDS
Every company is uniquely different, which makes each company’s shredding needs different. The following are some of the things to think about when trying to identify your company’s needs:
• How many employees do we have?
• Are we mandated by compliance to have shredding?
• Are we going paperless?
• How often do we need to be serviced?
• Do we currently have a shredding vendor?
CONTACT A SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Once you have identified your needs (or you need some help gathering more information), contact a TSR representative. An experienced TSR staff member will help in assessing any additional needs for your business. This assessment can be done through a brief phone call or an on-site visit to your business. Together, we will discuss the options that best fit your companies needs.
DEVELOP A PLAN
Once you and a TSR representative have established your company’s needs, a customized shredding plan will be designed and put into action. This will include the container size and pickup frequency. A TSR staff member will come to your place of business and deploy the shredding containers and establish a pick-up schedule given the amount of documents produced by your organization. Depending on your document flow, the business can receive weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pick-up service.
All TSR staff members undergo background investigations and drug screening as well as previous job referral checks to maintain industry security requirements (i.e., NAID certification). TSR staff members wear identification badges and uniforms for quick identification.
During the pick-up process a TSR representative will empty or exchange shredding container with locked containers safe guarding your sensitive documents at all times. Once the pick-up process has been completed, your TSR staff member will fill out a “Certificate of Removal” (COR). Your COR will notate the quantity of containers emptied and will be signed by both parties.
Our facility is protected with top of the line security systems. Not only do we have a monitored security system, but we have a state of the art camera system. Our facility is safeguarded by surveillance cameras that give us a complete 360 degree view of our property and the shredding process at all times. Our daily shredding process is recorded and stored for 90 plus days in accordance with NAID standards.
HOW WE SHRED
Your documents will be brought into our secure warehouse and destroyed by one of our NAID certified, shred technicians while you watch. Your documents will be completely destroyed in a matter of minutes from the time you arrive.
Once your documents have been securely destroyed, one of TSR’s staff members will present you with a Document of Destruction (DOD), for your records, before you leave.
TSR recognizes the need to take the destruction process a step further by ”Geauxing Green”. After documents have been destroyed, they are baled and loaded onto a secured truck. They are then sent to the recycling mill to be pulped-down and made into recycled paper products such as hand towels, tissue paper, and cups. We send 100% of all destroyed paper to a recycling mill. Last year, TSR recycled over 5 million pounds of paper.
